The Academic Registrar, Kyambogo University invites online applications
from Diploma/Certificate Holders Scheme only, to under listed undergraduate programmes for 2023-2024 Academic year.

Each applicant should possess at least a Credit or Second Class or equivalent Diploma/Certificate in a relevant field from a recognized Institution plus a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5passes (i.e. 5 subjects without a grade 9) (or its equivalent) and a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least One Principal Pass and Two Subsidiary Passes obtained at the same sitting (or its equivalent).
Please note that the Principal subjects required for admission to Diploma
must be passed at Principal or Subsidiary levels.
A non-refundable application fee of Shs. 50,000/= (Fifty thousand shillings only), (Ugandans) and $30 (International Students) plus the bank charge, must be paid at any Stanbic/DFCU Bank branch and ECO Bank, Revenue collection Account.
Certified copies of Diploma/Certificate Transcripts (not photocopies of certified copies) from the awarding institutions and Passport size photograph MUST be submitted to the Admissions Division Room 3, after payment of application fees.
NOTE: Only applicants with official Certified Academic Transcripts and Certificates will be considered for admission. Each applicant MUST also attach a copy of the Birth Certificate/National Identity NB.Applicants who may find difficulties filling the online form can receive help at the University. 1 Information on specific admission requirements for all programmes is contained in the Diploma/ Certificate Scheme Minimum Entry Requirements obtainable on the KyU website.
2 Applicants should fill and submit the forms online from the website: https://admissions.kyu.ac.ug.
3 Use the programme codes (not full names of programmes) when filling application forms.
4 Do not buy any other documents not originating from the office of the Academic Registrar. Those who buy
do so at their own risk. BEWARE OF CON MEN AND CON WOMEN!
5 The Academic Registrar has not appointed any agents to act on her behalf to solicit for additional funds other than the application fee stated above.

8 Candidates are warned against submitting forged academic documents as this will lead to automatic cancellation of admission, revocation of award where applicable and prosecution in the courts of Law.
9 Note that: i) Candidates whose Ordinary and Advanced level results are of Grades “Y”, “Z”, “7” and “9” NEED NOT APPLY because they are not eligible for admission. ii) Candidates who possess 3rd or Pass Diploma NEED NOT APPLY.
